Preliminary success - compiled, installed and mounting on MacOSX<br>
10.8.5 (our production rollout here).<br>

Finder in preview mode loads up a folder with 406 images quite<br>
quickly, and scrubs back and forth at reasonable speed (much better<br>
than SMB, comparable to NFS). My test machine is quite old however,<br>
so I need to push it to a better machine to get some good performance<br>
and usage stats.<br>
<br>
Now to find some willing volunteers to put it through it's paces.<br>
Shouldn't be too hard, because folks here hate SMB. :)<br>
