</div><div><br></div><div>There were also quite a few cases were there were directories that were empty except for a bunch of "mode 1000" files.</div><div><br></div><div>The system in question is used as a mirror of a file system which is used quite heavily, new files are created, old ones are deleted (and quite often recreated). I use rsync to update the system, like</div>
