<p dir="ltr">All gluster processes need to be run as root. So you will need to use 'sudo' to run any command. </p>
<p dir="ltr">On Ubuntu, the correct way to start Glusterd is by using 'service glusterd start'. You can check if glusterd is running using 'service glusterd status'.</p>
