<div>i do some Tests to have a closer look to glusterfs. i have two clients with nativ mount to 4 bricks with 1 volume as stripe. first i testet 2 bricks with stripe count 2 ->1*2=2. i run on only one testclient "dd if=/dev/zero of=testfile bs=64MB count=2k" and reached a good speed -> (131 GB) copied, 1615,44 s, 81,1 MB/s<- the max of the testclient i think.</div>

<div>after that i add 2 more bricks, create a new vol2 with stripe count 4 -> 1*4=4, deleted the vol1 and do the same but reached poor results (131 GB) copied, 6244,4 s, 21,0 MB/s.</div>

<div>it looks like the speed goes down with growing size of the file. Result for (10 GB) copied, 118,319 s, 86,5 MB/s with stripe 1*4=4. But tests with 96 or 131GB File are very poor and under 28MB/s- how can you explain this?</div>
