I enabled el6 repo from [1]<a href="http://download.gluster.org" target="_blank">download.gluster.org</a> in my rhel6 system and<br>

Yup, I think there was some issue with repo metadata. I had recreated the repo , after you reported the issue and that fixed it.<br>
